Click Arts Camp Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: My Child will be turning 10 in the fall. Can he/she still attend camp?
A: The age restriction is a generalization. If you think your not-quite-ten year old would enjoy CAC, please call 360-929-0519 or email campinfo@clickartscamp.org to talk to our director.
Q: What are the sleeping arrangements?
A: Each cabin has two adult counselors. There are separate cabins for:
- Younger girls
- Older girls
- Younger boys
- Older boys
Q: What if my child doesn’t like the food?
A: There are a variety of food choices at each meal, so campers who refuse part of the meal can still get substantial nutrition that they will enjoy. There are always protein, fruit and veggies at the salad bar. Counselors will monitor meals and alert the director when appropriate.
Q: Will the camp be focused on a final performance?
A: We will prepare a final performance for everyone to enjoy on Sunday morning at 9:00 AM; however, our focus is mainly on skill building activities and shows for each other during the session.
Q: How much does camp cost?
A: The fee is $600. There are no additional charges.
- Each additional sibling gets to come to camp for $550.
- Full Camperships are available for children in foster care.
- Due to the generosity of Rotary of Oak Harbor, Whidbey Telecom and the Darren Henley Campership, there are some funds available to subsidize camp fees.
- Please note on your application that you are interested in financial aid.
Q: Why did camp cost $500 last time, but it costs $600 this year?
A: The 2019 session was 5 days. This year we will have a full week.
Q: How will my child get to and from camp?
A: Campers need to be delivered and picked up at the campsite by a parent or designated adult. Please check the map or call for directions to Quaker Cove Retreat Center.
